Today Sarah Lu helped me color a birthday sign for Emily!
We both hope you had a GREAT day!!

Last Friday was my 15th Birthday. For the day, we went to the Zoo and then to a Lighthouse. We all had a very fun time and Sarah Lu just LOVED seeing all the animals!Me and Sarah with the Lion

Daddy was walking ahead of us, so Sarah Lu ran up to him as fast as she could saying, "Daddy! Wait!" And then hugged him once she caught up! Too sweet!!

Sarah looking at the birds

"WOW!"

I hope she doesn't drop her juice in the water!
(Don't worry, she didn't...although, I was very scared that she was going to!)

Sarah Lu looking at the birds again

Sarah likes to watch Animal Planet's Meerkat Manor, so when she saw these "Mousies" she was SO happy!"Look at the Mousies, Yashi!!"Me with my absolute worst fear...Alligators!
Thankfully, it was NOT real!

Sarah found this little "thing" and decided that she needed her picture taken on it...
Hmm...kind of reminds me of THIS picture taken in China...
She did pretty much the same thing, showed us that she wanted her picture taken with it!
Too cute!

And of course, Me and Lilly decided we should get a picture on Sarah Lu's "thing" too! :)

*NOTE: Videos from the day coming soon. After uploading all these pics, I am pretty 'uploaded-out' for now, but I will get the videos up soon.

Also on my birthday, our friends gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!
They named her Rachael!
She was 6lbs, 9 oz, 20 inches long. We got to meet her the next day!!Isn't she just one of the most beautiful babies ever?
I can't wait until Sarah Lu and Baby Rachael can play!
I know they will be good friends!
Sarah Lu is already talking about Baby Rachael non-stop!

Last week, We took Sarah Lu to get her hair cut! Her hair has grown out so much since we came home, so we decided it was time for a haircut. We only had her bangs cut since it was getting in her eyes and left the back alone so it can grow out. We know it wasn't really her first haircut since we know that she had her head shaved at least twice while in China, but this was her first haircut home with us!Before...

During...After

Sarah in China after what was probably her first haircut, about 9 months old, March 2005??

July 2006, 25 months, Beautifully bald!
See how gorgeous she looks, even bald?!

Modeling her new look!

Sarah is always interested in my makeup and especially loves "lips" (her word for lip gloss). We got her, her own chap stick (a Finding Nemo one) but still, she couldn't understand why she could not have the other stuff too. So I gave her one of my makeup brushes and a mirror compact, and she absolutely LOVES it. She calls it her very own makeup. Now, when she sees me putting on mine, she grabs her's and pretends to do the same thing! The other day she decided that our dogs needed makeup too! :-)

I love this makeup that my jie jie gave me!

Oh, hi Lilly!

Did you want some makeup?

Ok, hold still.

A little more...

Piaoliang gou gou!!! (pretty puppy)

Did you want some too, Wesley?

Sarah Lu, with her two very satisfied customers.
