Double Happiness has been having a weekly photo challenge, Family FotoFun Friday. This week's theme is "Eyewear." Since Sarah Lu is not home yet, we put her puppies in sunglasses! They're such cuties!
Wesley loved to pose for the pictures, and didn't mind the sunglasses a bit!

But, our other puppy Lilly, didn't care for the sunglasses much, this was as close as she would get to them...

Our LuLu has bows now! We were having the hardest time finding any bows that were on a soft headband, because I do not believe she has enough hair quite yet for the ones that clip in and some headbands just don't seem like they would be very comfortable. Well, while browsing some adoption blogs, I came across "Pierce Adoption Journey" and they had made a post about bows! I quickly emailed them and asked where the bows were from and it turns out Claires has them! So, today we went off to Claires to pick some up, I also went into H & M and found the cutest bow that was made from Chinese fabric and got a pair of leg warmers for her there (that are pink and sparkly) for Beijing, since we will probably be traveling in late November or December, and I am sure it will be cold! I also got Lu some jewelry and went to Walmart and found a pack of five bows that I thought were pretty cute! So now she's got a pretty bow to go with just about every outfit. I just can't wait to put them on her! Hopefully it will be soon, we are almost on Day 72!

Sarah LuHua's nursery is PINK! We painted it today.

We received an exciting email from our agency yesterday, it was an update on our Sarah Lu!!
She is 35 inches tall and 28 (almost 29) lbs! Her referral info was done in March, so we are very happy for an update!! Comparing the old info with the new, Sarah Lu has grown 2 inches and gained 2 pounds!!

While shopping the other day, I went to Target and saw the cutest little girls boots! There were three different pairs we especially liked, and it was oh SO hard to narrow it down, but eventually we decided on these super cute ones, and I can totally see Sarah Lu wearing them! We also picked up a cute pair of Hello Kitty tennies.

We are on Day 55 now in our wait for TA. Hopefully, this means we are OVER half-way through the wait. The average wait for TA seems to be about 60-90 days. It is getting so hard, we can't wait to go to China and bring Sarah Lu home!

We have started working on Sarah Lu's nursery! It's not even close to being done yet, but here is what we have done so far...It's still pretty empty, there's just a rocking horse, dresser, and a rocker that still needs to be reapolstered, but it's finally starting to come together!

Sarah's bedspread! If you look closely you can even see that it has ladybugs on it!

Wesley jumped right into the rocker when we brought it in and made himself quite comfortable! "What do you mean, this rocker isn't for me???"

Oh, Wesley we love you!

It's beginning to look alot like a nusery!
