Sarah is absolutely crazy about her puppies! From the minute she came home she has loved them and owned them! Right now, her favorite thing is to pretend "puppy Lilly", she crawls around with her tongue out, panting like a puppy, and will only respond to the name "Lilly".

While playing with Rachael, they were talking about mongooses. And as I walked by, she asked: Are you strong enough to be a mongoose?

Mommy, can I have some more caffeine? I love caffeine!
(This was Rachael's fault... she introduced her to caffeine, and No, she is not allowed to drink it. We would all be in trouble if she was... )

"Jesus is yummy in my tummy. God is a person, you can't eat him!"

Sarah Lu: (walking around the house with Dad's Bass Pro Flashlight looking as if she's up to something)
Dad: Sarah, what are you doing with my flashlight?
Sarah: I'm going MOOSE HUNTING, Dad! For the kind of mooses that go in your hairs!

(trying to convince Rachael to go to the store with her and mom)
If you go, I will make it fun. I make everything fun. And if we both goes, it will be really, really super funner!!!

Snow barf! Ewwwwwww! (about all the brown slush in the driveway)

While at the doctor's office, Sarah walks over to the nurse and says, "How did you get your clock?" pointing to her watch; The nurse replied, "Actually, I just got it from Wal Mart". Sarah steps back, puts her hands on her hips, and loudly proclaims, "Hey! That's our store!!! Some stores are mine, and some stores are yours."

"Daddy, you smell good. You smell like Strawberry Shortcake!"

"Rachel Weber, you smell bad."

"All the cool kids?! Wooowwwwww!!!"

"I have gots sunglasses with HEARTS on them and they're cool and my cool Rachael got thems for me. Bonga! Bonga!" (said this to a clerk at Children's Place)

Lady at Wal Mart: "she's so adorable!"
Sarah: "hey!!!" (annoyed)
Rachael: "Umm that means you're cute."
Sarah: "Ohh...I am adorable."

Sarah Lu went off to her first birthday party this afternoon! It was for her good friend, Molly from church who is turning 5! Sarah picked out a Littlest Pet Shop puppies with a purse for her present for Molly. She obviously had a very good time because she has been talking about the party non stop since coming home!

I was nominated for the "Blogging with a Purpose" award by my friend, Emily of As we Wait for Kate! I was so excited about this!

Emily said: Staci is one of the sweetest people I have met. We had the pleasure of traveling to China for our mei meis together back in '06. Since then we have kept in touch. AnnaClaire and Sarah Lu are good little friends, and are both getting a sister from China! Staci and her family recently excepted the referral of little Chayah Elizabeth and they will be bringing her home sometime this year! Staci is a faithful poster and takes the most beautiful pictures of little Sarah. You can tell her love for her sister, and I just love reading her blog for those reasons.

Now, I am supposed to nominate 5 other people for this award who haven't received it yet.

1.) Caitie of Sarah's Daily Adventures. Caitie is 14 and lives not too far away from us. When we found each other's blogs, we were so excited. Also, our little sister's are both named "Sarah"! Her gorgeous little sister, Sarah Grace, is 16 months old and just came home from China this past Wednesday! Caitie is so sweet and I know she is such a great Jie Jie to "Baby Sarah Gracie", as Sarah Lu refers to her as. ;)

2.) Leigh of Stevens Journey. Leigh and her husband are amazing people! They are starting their own adoption grant foundation, Our Creator's Hope!! I feel so blessed to know Leigh!

3.) Erica of Potter Family Happenings. Erica has a great blog, all about her two beautiful daughters, Julie and Melody! We met them at an America World seminar last summer. Sarah Lu and Julie had so much fun playing together, and they are only days apart in age!

4.) Nikki of Dreams As If You Will Live Forever. Nikki has a such a passion for orphans and that is evident in everything that she writes. She now offers blog makeovers at Blogs for a Cause through which all of the proceeds go towards raising funds for her humanitarian trip to the Dominican Republic this summer, and towards the charity of the month.

5.) Ellie of On My Way To Ethiopia. Ellie is so sweet and her younger siblings are SO CUTE! Her three youngest siblings are 3 year old Josiah and twin baby girls, Keren and Keziah. They came home from Ethiopia in November.

Sarah Lu is learning to write! She asked how to spell Mommy's name, and she wrote it out, all by herself!!!! I am so proud!

Today we received Pre-Approval from China to adopt my newest mei mei, Chayah Elizabeth!
