Our social worker and Sarah LuYesterday we had our 6 Month Post Placement! It is hard to believe that it has already been six months!! It seems like just yesterday that we were doing our home study! And very soon now we will be celebrating Sarah Lu's 3rd Birthday!! Wow... How time flies!

Sasha is now 16 months (she'll be 17 months at homecoming.) Eraye is her Ethiopian name, meaning "good sister" (very fitting, we think!) and we're keeping it as her middle name. We picked Sasha as her first name because we just thought it suited her!
Your sister could not be more adorable. Time really does fly, huh? I don't even want to think about Sasha turning three!!!!

Just wanted to add, since you asked:
My dad changed jobs in 2005 and had a month off between them- so my family decided to take a two-week trip to Kenya. We went to the capital, Nairobi, on safari for a few days, and then flew to the coast to spend a week on the beach. We did not use a group, bu a travel agent specializing in Africa trips arranged it for us. It was great, since we had a private safari driver and we could see/do things when we wanted. It was the most AMAZING trip and I highly recommend it if you get the chance! I just loved Africa and I'm thrilled to be going back in less than two weeks!
