One year ago today, August 18, 2007, our LOI (Letter of Intent) was sent to China from America World Adoptions, our agency. An LOI is a letter that is sent to China from the adoptive family stating their intent to adopt a specific child in waiting child adoptions. After submitting it we entered into our long wait for TA (Travel Approval) to come to China and bring Miss Sarah Evie Lu home to the United States to us, her forever family. It is amazing that today she has been home for 8 months already and is absolutely my sister! Reflecting back upon that day, we didn't know what would happen... Will China give us the ok? And when? When will we finally be able to travel to bring her home? That day held such anticipation and excitement, and now, one year later, it's even better! I love my mei mei, my Sarah Evangeline LuHua!
The photo above is a beautiful collage done by Ally of Picture Perfect (Thanks so much!! I love it!) and is of our three referral photos of Sarah.
