FCC Picnic

Last Sunday, we went to our first FCC meeting! FCC is "Families with Children from China" and it was the picnic. We had a very fun time meeting everyone and Sarah especially loved playing the Panda Toss game and then of course, her favorite, the park!! They were selling some things and so we bought Sarah an absolutely adorable little dress that has the Mandarin collar and has little pink and yellow flowers on it... It is SO cute! While we were there, we happened to mention where Sarah Lu was from, Langfang, and to our great surprise, a family had just returned from visiting in the Beijing area and one of their stops had been in Langfang!! After talking more to them we found out that they had also visited Sarah's orphanage and had been with our good friends who run the Agape Family House in Langfang, China!! Then, as if that wasn't amazing enough as it is, it turns out that my Dad knew the Mom from back when he was in high school! It's all so amazing!!

And, to end the fun picnic, just as we were leaving, I spotted a ladybug at the playground. Needless to say, I had to take a picture of it, especially since we were at the FCC picnic!
