On Thursday, Sarah had her second Shriners appointment. We go there for an all-day appointment, starting at 8am and ending around 4pm. We met with the Cleft Team, which is comprised of about 10 specialists that you meet with separately and then all together at the end of the day. Sarah met with a Photographer, Audiologist, ENT Doctor, Psychologist, Dentist, Orthodontist, Speech Language Pathologist, Two Surgeons, A PR Representative, and a "normal" Doctor and RN. We had a very busy day with lots of appointments, but it went well. Sarah was such a good sport, going from appointment to appointment all day. She loved her break in the play area though! (See pictures above) And of course, just like before, Sarah completely ruled the meeting at the end! During the individual appointments throughout the day, I think she won the heart of every single person! She especially loved her Audiologist and sat on her lap during the meeting, while having several conversations with everyone else. Before she sat on her lap, she decided that she might want her own chair next to the Audiologist's chair, so she even asked the head of the meeting to "Move, please?" Of course everyone thought that was hilarious, and although she didn't give Sarah her chair, Sarah was very happy to sit on her "friend's" lap!

I'm glad she didn't pronounce the audiologist a "bad man or woman" when they didn't move! James and I loved the story about the mand at the pet store. She is quite the little character.
