Sarah Lu had her doctor's appointment today. She was a very brave girl and had 4 shots AND a blood test! Mama and Baba took her and when she got home she was so excited to show off her band aids and tell us all about her traumatic experience with the "Doctor Bu-Hao!" (For those of you that do not know, "Bu Hao" is Mandarin meaning "No Good" or "Bad")

But, on the bright side, I am very happy to say that Sarah Lu actually wore (and kept in) pigtails ALL day!! (and aren't they just the CUTEST on her?!) And, if you noticed in the last post, She was wearing a BOW! She is accepting bows more and more! From when we were in China, we have some pretty funny stories of her and bows! She definitely made it known to everyone that she did not approve of bows for herself or any of the other babies in our group. So, we are definitely making some big progress with that! :)

Here are all four sisters, at age 2, wearing the same dress!Rachael, age 2

Chrissy, age 2

Staci, age 2

Sarah, age 2

More pictures of Sarah from this "photo shoot" coming soon..

Today we met up with Ellie and her mom, Stacey. Ellie and Sarah are originally from the same orphanage, the Langfang SWI. Langfang is a small orphanage, so the fact that both girls were adopted by families who lived in the same area, met online, and now met in person, is a miracle! We all had tons of fun!!
Also, today Sarah has been home with us for two months! I seems like she has been home with us for so much longer.
I made a short video of Ellie and Sarah today, make sure you have your sound turned on.

This is my red envelope!

And this is my paper lantern!

I think there's something in here...

What could it be?...

Oh, wow! It's money!

Happy Year of the Pig everyone!

Yes! It is finally done! Be sure to have your sound turned up, and give it a few minutes to load, as it is a longer movie (24 min.) Enjoy!
