We had our One-Month Post Placement visit the other day, Sarah Lu just loved our social worker! Sarah impressed her with how far ahead she is in everything, she said she definitely doesn't think two when she sees her, she thinks three! Sarah totally charmed the social worker, she kept saying how lucky we are, and do we ever know that! We are the luckiest people in the world!
We went out for Chinese later, and Sarah entertained us all with drumming the table with her chopsticks, it was adorable!
I love my mama and baba so much!
...and my sisters too!

I had the amazing opportunity to see Sarah interact with her fellow orphanage brothers and sisters while in China and meet them! We look at photos of Sarah and her life in China all the time, her favorites to look at are of the children that are close to her age. She calls them each by name. I am sure she misses them and remembers playing and growing up with them. I hope that one day we will find out that her friends have been adopted and Sarah can one day reunite with them. I wish there was a way we could go back and adopt one of her friends, if we could we would be on a plane back to China tomorrow! I hold each of the children I met while in China close to my heart and I cannot wait for the day I hear they all have families waiting for them.

Yesterday Sarah Lu came with me to see my best friend, Anna. She had a great time and absolutely adores Anna! Anna has two dogs, so Sarah had a great time chasing them around, one was their new puppy, Sadie, an absolutely adorable Border Collie!Getting a kiss from the puppy!

Sweet Sadie!

Anna had a surprise for Sarah Lu, Nala, a stuffed lion.
"Wow! You mean this is for me?"

"Thanks Anna!!! I love you!"

Today, most people were watching the Superbowl, but since we are not really into football (or sports in general), Me and Sarah Lu watched Animal Planet's 3rd annual Puppybowl! All the puppies are absolutely adorable and I was SO happy to see that some of them were rescues!! Both Wesley and Lilly(our dogs) were rescues and there are thousands of dogs in shelters across the country.

This week's Family FotoFun Friday Challenge from Double Happiness is "Sleepyhead".
So here are Sarah Lu's "sleepyhead" photos! (Click to see them larger) These are some of my very favorite "sleepyhead" pictures. They were taken in Guangzhou in December. I absolutely love the first one because it is SO sweet! That is the first time that Sarah fell asleep in Daddy's arms!!

These were also taken in Guangzhou! And nowhere else but the famous Lucy's restaurant on Shamian Island! These are so adorable because Sarah was so tired that she just fell asleep right in her rice, as you can see in the top two pictures, and then in the last one, Mama caught her because she was completely out!

And here is Sarah and her Gou-Gou Wesley in the van. As you can notice, a "crime" took place and these photos are the evidence! Sarah was eating in her car seat when she fell asleep with her food still in her hand. Well, Wesley noticed that she was asleep, so he jumped right into the opportunity for an extra snack! He just leaped up there right by her and swiped it right out of her hand! "Swiper, NO swiping!"

While we were in China we were given this photo of Sarah that was taken within just the first few days of her life. I was SO thrilled to get it because I never thought that we would ever have the chance to see, not to mention actually have, a photo of her when she was so young.
