Time with Sarah Lu

Yesterday was a pretty hard day too. We had to go back to LangFang to apply for her passport. After me being so sick on the 11th, Mom and Dad didn't think I should make that long trip again, So Mom and me stayed here at our hotel, while Dad and Sarah Lu made the drive back for the day.
Me and Mom had a pretty good day, It was really good to rest. A little later we decided we needed to get something to eat, so we ventured out and found a KFC right by our hotel, French fries and sprite have never tasted so good! We also found a six-story mall with tons different clothes and shoes, but we couldn't find anything for kids, so we will have to go looking again today.
Dad and Sarah Lu finally got back to our hotel here in Shijiazhuang at around 7:00pm(they left at 8am). I guess they had another pretty tough day. Sarah Lu wanted nothing to do with us... she wanted our guide again. She cried for a while, and then finally fell asleep.
This morning has been a lot better so far. She was happy when she woke up this morning and was happy at breakfast today too.
We talked to JieJie, Chrissy on the phone and that was really fun for Sarah Lu! She LOVES talking on the phone! When there is a phone around with Sarah Lu, everyone else should forget about using it, it will be in Sarah Lu's hands the whole time! She just talks and talks and loves doing it. We brought a toy cell phone with us and she just adores it, she loves pushing the buttons and "talking" on it too.
We are having a few little bonding issues...for some reason, she is coming to me instead of Mom or Dad, so right now we are trying to have her go to Mom or Dad for anything she wants or needs and bond with them more. Sitting down at the computer right now, I have my legs up so that she cannot come to me, she will HAVE to go to Mom and Dad. I think it is working a little bit, Just little while ago she was playing with a little beach ball with them and laughing and playing peek-a-boo. Then we had a small meltdown, but I think that is better now and she is happy again.
I think we are going to have to go shopping a little later, The 3T clothes we brought are a little too big, the 24 months and 2T's fit pretty good... Shoes though, we definitely need to get some smaller ones. .. We brought some 8 1/2's, and they are too big. She is smaller than we expected, but she will grow, so everything WILL fit her, just maybe not right away:)
